Those who (in charity) spend of their goods by night and by day, in secret and in public, have their reward with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve. [al-Baqarah, verse 274] Believe in Allah and His Messenger, and spend (in charity) out ofthe (substance) whereof He has made you heirs. For, those of you who believe and spend (in charity) - for them is a great reward. [al-Hadeed, verse 7] Narrated Abdullah Ibn Masood(R.A): I heard the Prophet (SAW) saying: There is no envy except in two: a person whom Allah has given wealth and he spends it in the right way, and a person whom Allah has given wisdom (i.e. religious knowledge) and he gives his decisions accordingly and teaches it to others.
