The Alim course is devised to allow students with an opportunity to study Islamic Sciences in an environment where they will not have to compromise any of their religious beliefs or values. It is hoped that the course will help the students in becoming true representatives of Islam, and individuals who will holistically contribute towards the community and country.

Our Maktab aims to educate the younger members of our community (4-12 years old) at a crucially impressionable age with a sound understanding of Islam. Contrary to the traditional style of primary education in the Muslim community, As-Suffa Institute has a well structured course developed in the English-Arabic medium, providing schooling in Qur’an, seerah, adab and basic Islamic belief.

Despite the fact that there are many Islamic Institutes and Mosques in the Midlands area, very few cater for the educational needs of Muslim women, leaving the mothers of our future generation unmindful of the requirements of their religion.
