The Muslim population of Birmingham is over 200,000, such a large population will inevitably encounter a wide range of issues related to their personal, family and social lives.  Unfortunately, in such a large city there are few recognised traditional institutes to whom Muslims can turn to for recourse in Islamic guidance. In light of the aforementioned, As-Suffa Institute employ the expert advice ot Mufti Sajaad Mohammad who has been trained to issue fatwa in all areas of Muslim life.

 
Anti Drug & Anti Violence Project

As As-Suffa Institute expands so does the scope to deal with the issues facing the Muslim community today, there is a real need to identify and confront the problems the Muslim community is facing. This is why As-Suffa Institute is always at the forefront in producing projects which will benefit the local communities.

 
Nigers Apeal 2005

Niger Appeal 2005 - As-suffa Institute In 2005 West Africa (Niger, Mali, Mauritania and Burkina Faso) was wit by a major food shortage caused by severe droughts and a huge locust invasion which swept the area during the growing season and destroyed the harvest.  Over eight million people in West Africa were at risk of severe hunger and malnutrition.

Inter-Faith Football Tournament
