Anti Drug & Anti Violence Project

As As-Suffa Institute expands so does the scope to deal with the issues facing the Muslim community today, there is a real need to identify and confront the problems the Muslim community is facing. This is why As-Suffa Institute is always at the forefront in producing projects which will benefit the local communities.

The Anti Drug and Anti Violence project aims to impact directly on the community, we are actively working with various local organisations in the UK, to tackle the problem with drugs and violence within the Ethnic Communities. This is a sensitive issue which needs to be acknowledged and tackled with precision.

Our objectives:

Creating a structured rehabilitation programme for offenders and re-offenders

Holding workshops to raise awareness within the communities of the current climate of drugs and violent abuse

Educating youth (and adults) of the effects of drugs and violence and their destructive consequences on communities and families

Complementing rehabilitation programmes with Islamic education/knowledge (Dawah)
