| Making dua through mediation of the Prophets |
Question:
I am currently reading a book called Reflection of Pearls by White Thread Press. Under a section relating to etiquettes of performing dua it says that you should make dua through the mediation of the Prophets or pious servants of Allah (swt). I was just wondering how one should practically word such a dua and the evidence from the sunnah as many groups have spread confusion about this issue.
Answer:
This means one should use Tawassul in doing Dua to increase the likelihood of it being answered. I have a somewhat detailed explanation on Tawassul that can be found in the Q&A section of our website.
