Halal or Haram money

Question:

If you travel to another country on a tourist visa that states no work permitted, then you work cash in hand illegally, and then return to your country with the money before the visa finishes? is this halal or haram money?

Answer:

It is a sin to break your agreement not to work. The money however is Halal which can be said to be somewhat tarnished.
