Evidence for reading Zuhur and Asr Salahs quietly

Question:

Please could you give a reference for the Ayat or Hadith that shows Zuhur and Asr to be quiet prayers and the rest to be out loud.

There are several hadith that prove this point.

[1] Yahya ibn Abi Kathir said that the people said "O Messenger of Allah there are some people who recite audibly in the daytime (prayers)." The Messenger of Allah said: "Strike them with camel dung." (Mussannaf of Ibn Abi Shaybah)

[2]The Tabi Mujahid stated: "The Prayer of daytime is silent." (Musannaf of Abd al-Razzaq)

[3] In Sahih al Bukhari it is narrated that Khabbab r.a. was asked whether the Messenger would recite during Zuhr and Asr, he replied yes. They then asked: how do you know that? and he explained it was by the moving of the Messenger's beard. In other words, there was no audible recital such that there knowledge was based on what they could see.
