Tying the hair in a bun in salah

Question:

Is it true that when women pray salah their hair should not be tied in a high bun like the sikh women?

Answer:

What is prohibited at any time is for the bun to be made on top of the head, as that was said to be a sign before the Day of Judgement, namely women would have such hairstyles. However, if the hair are made into a bun at the back of the head, for the sake of keeping the hair together, it is permitted.
