Question:

Is the jummah prayer fard upon men and women to read. if yes do the same ruling apply in this country.

Answer:

Jumah is fard for men to pray as long as they are not travelers. As for women, it is not a fard for them. It is Fard in England too. The condition the jurists state about the existence of an Imam was for that time when there was an Imam. Thus regardless of this condition it will be fard.
