Kaffara for breaking an oath

Question:

If you break an oath and have to pay kafara, but you don't have money now or in the future as you're a student at the moment and 3-4 years to come insha'a Allah. Can you fast instead? or should you wait until later when you have money?

Answer:

If you do not have the money presently or you have money but are in debt (in effect making you poor), then you may give the Kafara by way of fasting three fasts for each oath broken.
