Question:

How should the youth, while in secondary school or college, encourage or advise muslim friends to stop indulging in zinaa and other sinful acts? How should we also keep ourselves away from this sin?

Answer:

You have raised a very important question. It behoves a believer to firstly and foremost to protect himself from all sins, of the, eyes, tongue, feet and hands. To protect oneself one should:

[1] Stay away from places and people of Fitnah as much as possible.
[2] Listen to Islamic lectures and keep the company of scholars To help others:
[a] Advise them sincerely in private against falling into any particular sin
[b] Do dua for them in private and call upion Allah to save these brothers and sisters from the sin they are falling into.
