RE: Dealing with white spots in underwear and wudu

Question:

I think that the white spots are wadhi, because I sometimes notice that a quite thick liquid is emitted before and after urinating. I have one more question in reference to this- what about if my underwear is a light colour, such as grey or white. In that case I wouldn't be able to see if there are white spots there. What should I do in this case?

Because the exiting of this liquid is so regular one should first try one' best to limit the chance of this happening. The way you can do this is, perhaps, what I described in the last reply and also to do Istibraa. The latter is to after going to relieve oneself, in order to ensure that all traces of urine etc. Have exited from the private organ to stand up and down a few times, cough etc. If their are any traces still hidden inside they should emerge and should be cleaned away with a tissue and then water. After a while of doing this you will become more able to appreciate if something has exited or not.

In any case if the underwear is white etc. Then you should follow Ghalib az-Zann that is your preponderant judgement as to whether something has exited or not. And the same applies in clansing the affected cloth i.e wash that part of it you most likely thing has the drops on it.
