I have the entire audio recording of the Qur'an Al-Kareem on my mobile phone, which I, Al-Hamdulillah enjoy listening to. I also have the a program which gives the entire written Qur'an on my mobile phone, as well as prayer times, Hadith translations etc.

If the phone is switched off or if the programs are closed etc, is it permissible to take the mobile phone to the toilet?

That is:
(1) the mobile which has the actual audio recording and
(2) the mobile which has the software which has the entire

written Qur'an and prayer time software, Hadith etc.

Please note, that this is with the phone switched off or there being no writing on the screen from any of the programs etc.
