As-Suffa Institute has established itself as a means of positive change for numerous individuals, families and communities through the implementation of various schemes and projects, and its ambitions are ever growing. Adherence to the traditional teachings of sacred knowledge conveyed using dynamic methods of teaching fitting of modern technological advancement is a key cause of its up to date achievements. As-Suffa Institute began as a humble intention to help the fading local community, and has grown, by the Grace of Allah, into an Institute recognisable by and supported by a multitude of people nationwide.
Youth
A focal aim of As-Suffa Institute is to educate the future leaders of this nation, the youth, for the challenges of tomorrow using engaging tools within an Islamic framework. As-Suffa Institute provides the means for channelling their spirited energy into something positive by which they can gain the pleasure of their Lord. Some of the ways in which we currently provide for, involve and engage with the youth include: organising madrassah football leagues, implementing anti-drug/anti-violence projects, running a girls Summer YouthScheme, providing maktab classes as well as introducing various opportunities to volunteer with the Institute itself.
Adults
As-Suffa Institute prides itself on being able to cater for the needs of the entire spectrum of the community. Parents and elders are encouraged to take part in the schemes and classes we have available for them including: Alim/alimah courses that commence annually and incorporate the fundamental teachings of our religion with acquiring deep understanding of the Arabic language; Tafseer classes are delivered on a weekly basis providing spiritually uplifting sessions with comprehensive analyses of the Words of Allah; regular coffee mornings have provided mothers with a relaxed environment where they can meet like-minded individuals whilst receiving instruction from a qualified and charismatic ‘alimah on aspects of their religion, including rulings on pertinent issues.
Future Plans

We aim to introduce a vast range of activities at the new facility including a children’s playscheme, a counselling service, a revert sisters programmes, adoption and fostering services, health sessions, hifdh classes, and much more.
