Shaykh Shazad Khan

A student and disciple of the late Sheikh ul Hadeeth, Asad Madni (Rahimahullah) from India. Shaykh Shazad is a qualified Scholar in personal Islamic counselling and has been serving the community tirelessly for the past 6 years.

He graduated in 1999 from a six year course in the Islamic Sciences, and has a high level of Ijazas in: Fiqh, Usul-al-fiqh, Hadeeth, Usul-al-hadeeth, Tafsir and many other sciences.

He also has a BA (Hon) from the University of Birmingham in Applied Theology. His dissertation proved to be a unique piece of research in Sciences of Islamic Astronomy, which he is currently elaborating in order to publish. During his time at the University of Birmingham he was serving as an advisor to the Islamic Society.

His desire and contribution to the Muslim Community kn the UK has made him a shining example for the students in As-Suffa Institute. He currently teaches the 3rd Year Alim class, as well as setting up and teaching at Day Intensive courses.

    Taught by Sensei Pansy Wright, 3rd Dan, from Zen-Shin Black Belt Academy - a highly skilled, CRB checked, with first aid qualification and over 20 years of experience in working with children.

    These much anticipated sessions will equip your daughter with the basics in self-defence, eventually building her up to attain a recognised qualification in the sport. At the same we also consider the importance of improving your daughter’s Islamic education alongside her physical activities, therefore we will be integrating detailed yet concise Arabic sessions into this programme.
