Question
Is my fast void, if water goes into my ears while performing a ghusl?
Answer
The fast does not break by water entering the ears, as this has been necessarily exempted from the invalidaters of the fast. The Shariah created this exemption because people will always have the need to have a bath and it would be impossible for a person to prevent water entering the ears. Based on the principle of necessity, if oil is inserted into the ears, this will invalidate the fast, because here there is no need.
