Allah ta'ala says in His book: "And among His Qigns is this, that He created for you spouses from among yourselves, that you may dwell in peace with them, and He has put compassion and mercy between your (hearts): verily in that are Signs for those who reflect (30:21)".  Marriage is a relationship that creates a bond of compassion and mercy between the husband and the wife.  This half a day session will touch upon this topic from an islamic perspective, as to what are the rights and responsibilities of the spouses, and how can we try to achieve an atmosphere of peace in our homes.
