What to Expect
Counselling and psychotherapy gives you the privacy to discuss what’s going on for you. The consultation provides you the opportunity to discuss your issue in greater detail. Sharing your experience allows the therapist to understand your own unique perspective. During the consultation, the therapist will outline the course of therapy. This includes: how therapy process works, suitability, aims/expectations, as well as appointment details.
Online/Telephone
For online/telephone sessions, please choose a comfortable location where you are able to speak openly and are least likely to be disturbed. For example, a room within your residence or a parked vehicle. Ensure that you have a stable internet connection and that your device has sufficient battery life. It is recommended that you use headphones.
