This past month Pakistan has had the biggest amount of rainfall, in 3 decades, leaving areas of Pakistan severely flooded.
These flash floods were sudden and unexpected at this time of the year, it is estimated that around 33 million people have been impacted by the floods.
Over 1,000 people have tragically died, 1,456 others have been injured, more than 680,000 houses were damaged.
Due to the severity of the floods, more than 800,000 livestock have been lost and over 950 km of roads damaged.
The province of Balochistan, the largest and poorest region of Pakistan, has been impacted the most.
The people of Pakistan, especially in Balochistan are in urgent need of humanitarian aid. Already one of the poorest regions in Pakistan and the world, there is an urgent need for food, clean drinking water, hygiene kits, for the rebuilding of houses and infrastructure.
