Due to unprecedented demand for the course we have decided to postpone the event to SATURDAY 7TH OCTOBER 2017 AT 5PM to enable a larger attendance and medical volunteer teaching by collaborating with the British Islamic Medical Association and their annual CPR Lifesavers project. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused and will be opening up more spaces for entry to cater for attendees. We will also be providing a free meal upon completion of the course. REGISTRATION IS MANDATORY.
This basic life support training course aims to help teach you the basic knowledge of first aid – covering CPR, recovery position, and choking management.
The course takes place approximately 2 hours and will teach the theoretical knowledge followed by the relevant practical “hands on” assessments to improve knowledge and skill.
The course will allow staff to confidently respond to minor accidents and incidents.
The course can be tailored to suit any audience and is suitable for both complete novices or those looking to refresher their basic first aid skills.
Basic Life Support Training Course Summary:
- Recovery position
- CPR Demonstration and practice
- Choking Management – responding effectively and practical demonstration
On completion delegates will be able to confidently deal with first aid issues that arise.
Delegates will be able to demonstrate how to correctly position a person in the recovery position, perform CPR confidently and deal with shock and choking effectively.
This course lasts approximately 2 hours.
On completion delegates will be receive a certificate of attendance. (Certificate are for attendance and not formal Basic Life Support recognition)
