The Intro to Iftaa course is designed for those who have studied Hanafi Fiqh and want to understand the intricacies of how fatwa is given by the experts. The course will be covering a well known Hanafi text, Uqood Rasm al-Mufti by the renowned Imam Ibn Abideen. In addition to the book, students will be investigating selected Hanafi texts in order to appreciate the inner workings of fiqh. The course will give students the opportunity to attempt to answer questions under the supervision of the teacher including various other assignments. Students will need to have studied some Hanafi texts, namely Qudoori and sections of Hidayah or other advanced books. Students must be able to read and understand Arabic texts on their own. Only a handful of spaces are available.
