Our mission
Imagine having to grow up without parents, no hope of where your next meal will come from or if you’ll even find shelter. Imagine fleeing your country, left to fend for yourself not knowing what the next day will bring. This is the harsh reality for thousands of orphans around the world. These orphans live without basic necessities, in dire conditions and at extreme risk of financial, sexual and labour abuse.
As-Suffa Relief is on the ground in Syrian refugee camps (Lebanon), Pakistan and The Gambia to offer hope for these forgotten children. We believe in providing holistic support to enable the children to live and be educated in a safe environment so that they may break out of the vicious cycle of poverty. With your support you will enable us to provide education, food, stable income and stable housing through our support programs, schools and orphanages – all resulting in a generational change.
Your impact
From just £15/month you can sponsor a hifdh student for a month. £35/month will provide a child with clothing, shelter, food, and an education to break the poverty cycle.
The Prophet Muhammad [peace and blessings be upon him] (who was an orphan himself), said: “Myself and the caretaker of an orphan will be in Paradise like this” and he held his two fingers together [Bukhari]
The purpose of our project is a long-term investment; the project aims to rid these deprived communities of child-marriage and child-labour.. We deliver access to quality education, whilst supporting family members with training and employment opportunities. We want these families to break free from the shackles of poverty and contribute to the success of their own community.
