Flexible modular comprises of 8 modules, with a minimum of 2 to be selected. 2 options available:

Fiqh

Aims/Objectives:

  • To learn the Islamic rulings pertaining to social and ethical conducts of a Muslim in worldly affairs with practical relevance to today’s society.
  • To understand one’s rights and responsibilities in a holistic manner.
  • The basis of the rulings will be derived from the Hanafi Madhab, with appreciation for other Madhabs.

Content Summary:

  • Students will study Nikah (Marriage) Rida (Nursing the child) Talaq (Divorce) and Buyoo(Buying and selling).
Hadith

Aims/Objectives:

  • To familiarise learners with the saying of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
  • To explore the moral, spiritual and social insight that the hadith contain and how they can be thoughtfully integrated into contemporary life.

Content Summary:

Learners will explore a comprehensive selection of Sahih hadith from Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim covering Chapters of trials and tribulations, Jannah and jahannam, ilm, Virtues of Quran, Tawheed and more.

Tafsir

Aims/Objectives:

  • To learn the translation of surahs from the Noble Quran.
  • To deepen the understanding of selected surahs of the Noble Quran, explore its guidance and foster spiritual connections.
  • Gain insight into the moral, spiritual and practical lessons of the Noble Quran.

Content Summary: 

  • Students will study Juz Amma; the 30th chapter of the noble Quran.
Tajweed

Aims/Objectives:

  • To recite the Qur’an correctly
  • To preserve the Qur’an as it was revealed
  • To avoid mistakes in recitation
  • To beautify the recitation

Content Summary:

  • Makhraj (articulation points)
  • Sifat (characteristics of letters)
  • Types of mistakes in recitation (Lahn)
  • Advanced Rules of Tajweed

Application:

  • Students practice reciting short surahs with focus on correct pronunciation and rules of Tajweed.
  • Application of rules in a chosen, more complex Surah.
